YO PPL
firstly, sorry for not updating b4 i left for camp ahaha
had no time
anyway, here I am!
i survived 4days in OBS pulau ubin

so here goes.
wont be so detailed.

first day
we took a boat there.
arrived at ubin abt 10? i forgot liao
then we were separated into our groups
i got into RALEIGH :D
instructor was HIAP LUH, extremely kind person
grp members were,
Kenneth,
Zhen Hui,
MingWei,
QuanFeng,
Joyce,
Jasmine,
Constance,
Yinshuang,
JianTing,
JinQuan,
Ismail,
Rai,
Filbert,
Changhao
and me :D

so we unpacked food then we separated them into diff meals and days
btw the food were biscuits, bread, raisins, nuts, canned food, and noodles.
there was only enuff rice for one meal.

so after that we went to kayak to learn how to capsize and rescue
the water was damn shiok
and floating around in a life jacket is fun too hahah
so after me and JinQuan capzized our own boat,
jingtian and his partner ( forgot who )
were supposed to rescue us
but then after i got above the surface, jinquan was 15metres away holding onto kenneths boat
i drfited around in the water for 20 mins when at last HiapLuh dragged him back to JianTing
and we finally rescued ourselves haha.

ohya we also played some socialising games.... like passing the masking tape in 6 secs :D
then cooked noodles for dinner
some ppl spilled noodles. two packets gone. hahah but at least kenneth didnt spill all. WHOOPS.
then after that started packing for the next day cos we had land expedition
then slept in a tent with filbert only.
had loads of space hahaha
ate raisins that i smuggled into OBS XD

second day
woke up and did some funny exercises haah
then ate breakfast and had a morning circle, where
we shared all our reflections and thots on the camp so far.
some ppl said so far so good
while some complained abt paying $208 for biscuits and bread hahahahahah

so we started off on our journey later, carrying heavy bags and ponchos
took many breaks in between haha
finally arrived at public campsite
only had bread for dinner
wanted to cook but it rained haha
then slept in tents.
i didnt slp. stayed up the whole night. even after sentry duty. and campfire with rai and jinquan hahaha
cos my tent had no space left. and the ppl doing sentry duty were all damn noisy.

then shakir talked to me
saying how zx seemed to be unable to live without me ( not literally )
and how its always the girl that misses the guy alot till the point of being emo
and how the guy always enjoys himself all the same
and how im a good bf ( i dont think so )
and how his face could scare the dogs away
and some ppl were doing cosy stuff hahaha jkjk
woke everyone else up at 5am
then brushed teeth then prepared to leave the campsite

third day the best and worst day
we kayaked all the way to OBS campsite
took three hours plus to reach there
then we were making a long line of parallel kayaks at the end
and the ppl on the back row had to stand up
but elbert fell
and he said :"im standing!!"
turns out we were actually on water that was lower than knee level -.-

so we couldnt pedal, we had to come out and drag our boats
jinquan ran away without me while i pulled gwen and james's boat
my leg kept getting stuck in the mud
then gwen was like, "zx will be proud, come on u can do it!"
but stef took over halfway
and i got their boat again.. and i dragged them to shore haha
then helped to carry boats and pedals
my arms were really sore and tired haha
then changed and had lunch

den we did the blindfold and stretcher game nth much to say abt that
then after we practised belaying b4 doing the actual high activities
kenneth cannot be belayed by quanfeng and i ahaha
so we went to do the high activities, one of my fav activities
we had climb logs that were abt 1.5meters vertically apart
so i belayed and climbed three times
first time was with kenneth
i had to bend down and let him step on my thighs so that he could go up first
cos i had no difficulty in climbing up.
then after awhile both of us reached the top
a few of us couldnt reach the top like joyce ( cannot.. cannot.... ) lol.
and later i helped jinquan and joyce go up to the top
( my poor leg xD qf's poor nuts hahaha thx for belaying me )
i wanted to help yinshuang get to the top too.. but well.... she didnt want to....
everyone agreed that it was the time when our group bonded the most

so after that we cooked noodles and rice for our last dinner :(
and pitched our tents too
then that night we had a gathering of sorts..... we really felt bonded and was sad that we had to separate the next day
but i was really tired when hiap luh said we could slp
i nvr stay up for a night chat or anything
just slept...

fourth day
woke up the next morning
had a gathering again
vandalised each others bodies xD no lah only hands and legs
and our final gathering
spent on reflections and sharing ours thoughts throughout the camp haha
a period for emotions? oh well.

did the jetty jump after that
we had to shout our commitment b4 we jumped.... was damn fun lah ahaha
it was simply SHIOK hahah
i jumped twice
kenneth three times
managed to keep to my second commitment of keeping everything in time haha
SHIOK
then went to pack tents
lost a key and few other stuffs
hiap luh helped us pay $60
so thankful to him =)
k then we got our photos and certs =D
then went to shop around didnt buy anything no money anyway
then went home at long last

when we arrived at school saw heather shannon and the other juniors there
zul-z said i became blacker hahaa or rather more tanned
my mom says i became skinnier o.0? lol.
anyway got lompang (?) form zx's dad to go to kallang b4 going home
hahaha
