Yo people I am back from camp it was from 1st to 3rd of march… packed one big bag and went to school on the first day…. Took bus then by the time I arrived it was time to go to hall for briefing… so we went to the hall and then we saw all of each other’s bags of all shape and sizes… k then came mr bal and he started talking about the day’s plan and so and so. Then james, who was next to me, was damn unlucky and guess wad… his bag got one padlock but he forgot the code…. Then he sms-ed his mom for the code but it didn’t work… so later on james, o wen and I took turns to try and unlock the code, starting from 1 all the way to 999 LOL k then so we switched places for every one hundred tries…. James ruled out the possibility that the number might be 999 hahs but NONE OF THE NUMBERS WORKED HAHAS k so in the end I took out my knife and pried open the zip….. hahas later we got on the bus and rode all the way to pulau ubin…. I should have brought my phone along…. Some people on the bus were chatting happily and others were just sitting there, as james said, in a world of their own, hahas like niam and zhengjia and many others… i wanted to be in a world of my own too hahas lol k so we arrived at marina community club which was far far away at punggol….. then walk walk walk in a jetty and on to the ferry into pulau ubin… we waited at the boat hangar for awhile before setting off… the jetty was rocking left and right…. Oh I forgot to tell u all it was raining. So onto the boat… the ride was rather noisy hahas as Stefan and a few others were singing…. Then we arrived at the island and walked to some kind of restaurant and every one assembled there…. K so after that we all got into our groups with our trainers, learnt some kind of claps, heard stories of a huge fish and introduced ourselves to the trainer farah. Then we had lunch which was quite a spread…. Very delicious… indeed, the vegetarian food was nicer than the non vegetarian ones hahas my fren kept asking if they could take some portions…. After which we went to do some rope activities which we learnt from many values such as focus, trust and teamwork. Then we had to do debriefing and reflections and such… K then we had a rafting activity in which we had to build a raft and pedal across the river I was waiting at the other side to do the second round…. Then shirley spotted it… a huge black fish facing towards us, expecting food, then jerome splashed into the water and frightened the fish away hahas then all of us tried to climb onto the raft... but then after a while it nearly capsized and all of us except syed fell off the boat... we were practically swimming and pushing the boat lols it was freakin tiring but we kept on going and then we all pulled the heavy boat ashore and dismantled it... ta da!!! we won lol k later on had shower… oops forgot to mention that our bags had been dumped into a commando tent…. Damn big… then had dinner... everyone looked different in their home clothes and let down hair haahs and there was a "ghost" shall not elaborate on it. lols k so after that we walked out of the border of the camp into the darkness and had a nitewalk hahas nothing much, except that i heard 2A encountered a wild boar so gud i encountered nothing but a damn dog lol hahas k so then to sleep we went in our cramped tents at about midnight.... played a few rounds of taiti... then slept... crap forgot to mention the bath had no doors and most of us bathed without soap.... end of day 1

Day 2 woke up at 4am lol cant sleep then went toilet then played taiti all the way until it was time for breakfast... munch munch then had abseiling which rocked and then the leap of faith which i didnt try but later tried rock climbing and i climbed the most difficult wall and was the only one to complete it WAHAHAH i rok... k then i ate lunch and then we had a ubin exploration... saw patricia mok and then sang songs all the way.... later on it rained heavily and we all ran hahas boon yee was going mad hahas we were all soaked like mad and so were our things... most of the tents had collapsed and so many of our things were soaked... k so had a wet dinner... then placed our things back into the commando tent again... then had dinner... then came the camp fire and we all sang songs and cheers here's a good one not sure if its correct

our trainers, farah and buff made nice comments about us lols and
so we slept in a freezing conference but still managed to sleep hahas

day 3 woke at 6 and then ate breakfast and packed the tents and took a boat home...

overall, i think the point of this camp is not to learn skills or have experiences but to learn more about ourselves and to bond our friendships ( or relationships hahas hint hint) and to emphasise on togetherness k tats all.... until then, good bye
