Hello today got Learning Journey at the Discovery centre........... I learned nothing but at least i got to watch two cool movies...

on Ernest Shackleton the guy who in 1914 tried to cross the Antarctic on foot.....
He had more than enough food supply...In the end the boat he was riding on, the Endurance, got stuck among a jigsaw puzzle of ice and he and his men of 30 people were forced to abandon ship......... A few days later, the Endurance cracked under the pressure of the ice and crumbled down......It was their darkest moment.........They still had the lifeboats... they then set off for Elephant Island and set up a small camp there....Shackleton had the lifeboats re-built to have a deck..... Then Shackleton, Captain Worsley and Seaman Crean set off for South Georgia Island.... But it was difficult... they had to go through extremely rough weather and current conditions..... At long last, they reached South Georgia Island where the nearest whaling station was..... But due to forced circumstances, they set shore on the opposite coastline of South Georgia island where the whaling station was.... They then trekked through glaciers, mountains and crevasses with only boots, winter clothing, a carpenter's axe and a rope..... In the end they managed to get to the whaling station and were accostomed by the people there.... They then set sail again on the Yeochil and went back for the men he had left behind at Elephant island..... Back at the Island, Shackleton's men had lost all hope..... All of a sudden, A small figure in the shape of a ship appeared.... They were saved. Shackleton quickly counted the men and shouted : "All men safe and alive!!!!" But you all out there should've seen the movie.... it would've been much cooler..... And according to one of my sources, some people ACTUALLY CRIED names not mentioned lol.....

And then we watched another short film about Singapore... a bit lame but quite amusing haha.... and then during break time they gave out Packet drinks of Milo.... I had to give em' out!! kanasai so unlucky arghhh!!! but then i nicked 1 into my pocket and then i only drank it on the bus trip back to school.... I forgot to throw and left the drink on the seat WAHAHA so darn funny...

During com club today had to draw the poster all over again cos it was too messed up... And then I fouled up i was supposed to draw on different layers but i dumped everything on 1 layer haha can't be helped..... Quite an enloyable day today, guess i got what i wanted cos i wished for an eventful day.... well, happy day today until then, so long!!!
